Whilst the Sydney Alliance is a coalition of civil organisations and groups, we believe it is important to provide all people that live in Sydney with the opportunity to shape the city they and their families live in and take action in common with others, on issues that impact their lives.
The Friends of the Sydney Alliance provides individuals, clubs, associations and small business owners that are located in Sydney, an opportunity to support and take part in some of the work of the Sydney Alliance.
Friends of The Sydney Alliance will receive the following benefits:
- The Sydney Alliance quarterly newsletter
- The right to participate in any of the Research Action Teams, that will be working on the identified
issues common across all partner organisations - Invitations to member only networking functions with leaders of the partner organisations
- An invitation to attend an Introductory 2 Day Training course which explores why and how we are building the Sydney Alliance
- Invitations to contribute to any projects that the Sydney Alliance may undertake in the Sydney
Community. - Invitations to come and hear guest speakers from around the world share their experiences about community organising.
… while also knowing that they are providing valuable funds that will help build a stronger community
voice in Sydney.
