The Big Deal Appeal

It seems democracy IS for sale in Australia. Sadly, the influence of corporate donations, and industry lobbyists, means the public interest is often not a priority for political parties.

Sydney Alliance offers something different. Our Alliance of civil society organisations organises, trains, and creates opportunities for everyday people to take part in democratic decision making. You can contribute to that work by making a donation.

As Sydney Alliance Lead organiser David Barrow says in the documentary Big Deal, if you don’t have a lot of money you need a lot of people. A lot of people contributing relatively small amounts of money can fund powerful grassroots action. Please consider making a one-off or, even better, regular donation to Sydney Alliance.
