Father Alan Gibson from the Catholic parish of St Vincent's in Ashfield was one of the first Sydney Alliance leaders to host a table talk in the hope that such a gathering would spark conversation and participation in the community.
Fr Alan kicked this off with a personal letter to a group of parishioners inviting them to an informal meeting.
Throughout the meeting, Fr Alan recorded notes on the issues affecting people and summarised this in a short report combined with some proposed actions which could be undertaken at a community level. Read the result of his table talk here.
